Can you see what it is yet?

The guy who was selling it was about 30 years old, he inherited it from his father-in-law. He then just used it for commuting to work. He is a private school teacher and now lives on the premises.

It looks reasonably sound for a 34 year old bike. I need to reinstate the cantis, it looks like I will need to find a pulley wheel. Apart from that it needs the grip shifts thrown out and a new chain and it's good to go. Unfortunately as usual this is too small for me, so it will be a flipper.

Is it worth rationalising if you're flipping?
You must be planning to sell to discerning collectors, a famously deep pocketed group😉.

I will try to ride it a few times to see what it feels like since it is such an icon of its time.. There is plenty of seat post height available. :)
