Can you fit 27.5s on 26inch frames?

I have nobbly 27.5s running on my B17 (slightly longer stays thank other Marin models I believe, disc brake) with no bother, and 29s with skinny roady tyres on my explosif (sliding dropouts, disc brake). It can be done.

'92 explosif, had a disc mount welded on, slapped some 650b MTB wheels in, with 47c with horizons.
I think it helps that the frame is 21" or 22"

Which handlebar are you running? I love klunker bars, always on the look out for new offerings in that area.

The quality is questionable

There's nowt wrong with that. I went for this one on one of my bikes, but I'd like a little more back-sweep.
