Can I swap these lowers over - pike

So, I have a couple of sets of pikes. One I've had for a while, one arrived today.(Pike select +).

The unstickered set I'm not sure of the model, but it's a charger damper. It has some slight discolouration to one stanchion so when I came across the pile select + which had a crack in the disc mount, I thought great, I'll buy those and swap the lowers over.

But can I?

There seems to be some slight cosmetic differences between the two lowers, but broadly similar. The main difference is the damper by the looks of it, and the select + feel a bit lighter.

So can I simply swap over the lowers? I can't find much relating to compatibility online, a minefield of letters and numbers and harder as I'm not sure of the model of the unstickered set. Both are boost spacing, stanchion diameters are the same, the select + has debonsir graphic.

Anyone got any idea at all?

If the answer is no, what lowers are compatible with the select + uppers, is it only the same or are Lyric or others compatible?

Thanks

Pretty sure the Select + will also have a Charger variant? Think it's only the Select that doesn't? The non stickered set looks earlier but then the Select + are not that new so I think you should be fine. From memory it's the latest ones that are not compatible with others?

Thanks, they are both charger variants. I guess I can but try. It should be easy enough to take off the lowers and compare before going further.

There should be ID codes etched on the rear of the crown. Put them into SRAM website and see exactly what variety each is. Main generation code is the most important when it comes to compatibility. ( ie A/B/C) More info will be easier to find once you know this. A vs B is mainly the air shaft , the other differences are the dampers but these are compatible with with all A or B models.
Given you’ve had one for ages and the other is second hand, I doubt you’ve any gen C forks, which are only compatible with themselves.

My only worry would be the condition of the internal surfaces and bushings on the forks with the discoloured stanchions. Discolouration is usually a sign of neglected servicing. Going to need at least new seals and foam rings.

Thanks. All good points. Definitely replacing seals and foam rings. The newer fork was barely used so it's in vgc aside from the post mount crack.

Condition of the bushings is going to be a check for sure. Ok the fork with the discolouration, it's really minor, I'm being picky so hope it's all good inside.

Don't suppose you know if the uppers are by any random chance compatible with Sid Ultimates? I suspect a hard no, but if you don't ask.
