Can I get some confirmation that this is a Mk3 Death Fork?

Coming to the end of getting a Viscount/Lambert or Lambert/Viscount back on the road. While trying to ID the frame and forks a couple of years ago I found out that it was equipped with an Aluminium fork. I've since read about the 3 types and am pretty sure this is a Mk3. Would like to get some confirmation of that and if anyone has any experience of using this version. I'd like to leave it on the bike and see how it feels and how I feel, (are front end noises going to become an obsession!), so if anyone is using one I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks

No heat was used in preparation for paint, just in case it weakened them.

Wasn't the steerer pinned on the later ones? This certainly looks like the brake drilling has a roll pin pressed into it.

Yeah there's something that looks like a shim in there alright. The overall fork feels solid, I wouldn't have thought it was aluminium until I began reading up on Lambert/Viscount.

Any pictures of the rest of the bike? We always like a Viscount and it might give away some clues about the fork.

It's a 76 Viscount Victor, took a bit of time and research to finally identify the model. The first thing that struck me was the lugs on the head tube but the rest of the frame is fillet braised.

The (almost) finished article. The positron cable snapped at the RD end on the way back from it's first test ride, gonna replace it with Dura Ace friction set. Decals were lying around for a while and need some regluing. Rubber bar tape to be added in order to keep the vibrations from the aluminium forks to a minimum. I didn't stick to the original colours, like to add a bit of my own ideas to rebuilds.
