Can anyone recommend me a saddle !!

I find the comfiest saddles to be either the WTB Rocket V, or the Charge Spoon, both can be had for under £30

For your budget I would recommend a Charge Spoon. If you stretch to more expenditure go for an SDG Bel Air RL, the best modern (comfortable) saddle on the plant IMHO.

I would vote for a well worn flight, but have a look at The woolly hat shop on ebay loads of saddles for wide beam people. I have been using this saddle from them for the start of this year, not bad for the price.

Yes, and another here......

I still swear by the old Flite.

Same . I tried a spoon because they come so highly recommended but hated it no matter how I adjusted it . Damn thing goes up at the rear , felt too odd .

I love the feel of the SLR but I've broken 2 of them . If only they did the carbon hull with steel rails or even just solid TI , the hollow ones are too fragile :( . Funny thing I found when I sheared a rail was they fill them with a sand like stuff which must be so they can bend them to shape without kinking , but it stays in , I got curious and the stuff adds about 5 grams

Tried so many and only got on with two really well

First was a Koobi Si, comfy, but very weighty and didn't wear too well

Best of all and still using it is the Fizk Gobi with Ti rails, its one of the older ones and just the nicest saddle i've ever had
Sadly bit more than 30 quid though

Hate Flites and even more so the WTB SST, didn't find those Specialized BG ones much better although it was one of the skinny race ones

Saddles are a bit of a horses for courses thing both me, my brother and mate get on well with WTB Speed-V's (i also do ok with a rocket-v comp) and my wife likes her Speed She. I cannot bear flites but others say they are great. Worth getting your butt measured (specialized dealers have something to do this with) to determine the best type and size of saddle for you.

Carl.
