Can't see it very well, but it looks like one of their bonded "dynatech" frames.

Just googled Kalahari and it is 100%. I think its made from K2 tubing but not sure.

Not exotic and probably not particularly light, but might ride nicely enough. It should probably have rigid forks on it though, I think it would have had them originally

Definitely a Raleigh Kalahari

Definitely a 1993 Raleigh Kalahari (SE) with full LX kit.
Original came with rigid fork as well.
Had one from new and rode Snowden on it that first year, a brilliant bike for the money.
Resprayed mine a few years back and gave it a mate to get him biking.
Still going strong.
