Can anyone identify this old road bicycle?

Retro Newbie
Hi there all

I've bought another bike off ebay to restore and keep at my parents house.

I saw this on eBay for £40 and took a punt on it. The owner had no idea what it was, and the paint is in pretty bad nick. Not sure what I've got here, but I'm sure someone here will know! The frame looked like an old Raleigh Corsa I restored, but I thought I'd take a punt.

If nothing else, my plan was to restore it properly, and use it as a general run around.

It has a stamp "Page 2060" on the bottom of the frame (possibly Reynolds 2060?) On the steering tube there is a tiny logo stamped in the steel consisting of an "ES"

What do people think?

Thanks!

Doesn't look particularly Raleigh-like to my eye and, although they could have been changed, the components aren't like those on old Raleighs. Looks mid to late 70's based on the geometry, the lack of braze-on shifter bosses and the lamp boss on the fork.

Those shifters are quite cool, not seen any like that before!

Re:

Went and picked this up, and I've got further details that may help to find out who made it.

Any ideas? I can't quite make out the letters *o**ss**er ?

Frame ID is D0159269

At some stage its been repainted rather poorly...!
