Campagnolo Delta question

On a friends bike (a sweet Duell) I would like to replace the Delta brakes with Shimano AX brakes . I would like to use the same cable.

How to disconnect the cable from the Delta brake?

It looks like the Delta brake is a totally closed piece. Can somebody more familliar with them please explain?

Unscrew the barrell adjester which allow you to remove the faceplate. 3.5mm allen key to release the cable.

I already got one at the shop. Actually it wasn't really tough to get one. I only didn't have one already. What did surprise me is that several bike stores overhere also hadn't one. Never worked on Deltas probably. I did

The hardware store a km from my home stocked them. 2.35 euro, Swiss made.
