Hi All

Can anyone confirm the ball bearing size for C-record headsets?

VeloBase says 5/32 but the century finish version says 3/16. Athena and Chorus from that era also say 3/16 and they appear almost identical to C-Record

Anyone have an original tech diagram ?

thanks

Excellent , thank you stringfellow1946.

Looking at your info and at velobase again I'm not sure which headset i have:

There is this one (304-104 C-Record)

http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx? ... 1&AbsPos=3

And also this one: (HS-01OR Record 1992-1994)

http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx? ... &AbsPos=13

Also this (HS-01RE 1991-?)

http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx? ... &AbsPos=12

I cannot tell the difference. Some of the images for the latter two have black seals/bands which mine does not, but apart from that I cannot tell them apart. The latter two are also 3/16 as opposed to 5/32

thanks

This is from the 1998 Campagnolo spares catalogue & it has a rubber/plastic seal on the bottom race.
I will look for others later for you.
