Calling other Koga Miyata owners

I'm going to get a friend to make up a cast metal head tube badge for my Koga.

I fancy the KM logo as shown in this pic with polished edges and black centre

He does good work as shown in one he did for my Kona

Anybody else want one? If so drop me a mail to [email protected] and if there is enough interest I'll find out how much they will be (normally around the £20 mark)

Does your mate do this for a living? The Kona one looks great - I'm after a badge for my Urago and they're quite hard to come by, I missed out on one on eBay the other day by seconds... If he makes this sort of thing for a living I can send photos etc...

It's a sideline for him but he did the Kona one from a splat decal I had so I see no reason why he couldn't.

Nice initiative. I have only one Koga with that style badge. It is a 1984 Koga Pro Am and it's my rider. I think I'll stick with the decal for this 'work horse'.

Please show us the result when done.

Ken - I'm struggling to find a photo of the classic Urago head badge (with Mr Uragos grinning face and the address of the shop in Nice) that would be good enough for your mate to work from... I'll keep looking but might have more luck locating an actual badge from a discussion I've just had with another Urago owner here in France. So I'll be in touch if all else fails but otherwise will keep looking for an original.
