I have just ventured into the depths of the cupboard under the stairs and come out not only alive and unharmed but also clutching a big handful of kit, some of which is fairly tidy, some is scruffy but perfectly usable, and some is definitely to pick apart for spares.
I dont really have time to buff it all up and list it individually so I thought id punt it as a job lot and see if theres any takers.
It is probably not of much interest to those amongst us whos bikes have a mirror like polish and dont go out in the rain but definitely suited to those whos bikes look like extras from Mad Max.
Here goes...
9 speed xtr cassette part worn but useable if you can find a chain to run with it (id guess its got 30/40 % wear but I may be out a bit).
Dia compe fs-e (for cantilevers) brake levers, scratched but mechanically fine.
Xt m739 right hand brake lever (new I think but a bit mucky/scuffed).
Xt m750 left hand shifter (missing its little rubber cover that covers the cable end).
Use alloy seatpin
X-lite q/r's maybe titanium but im not 100%, used to be purple but more like pink now.
Shimano mc40 7 speed rapidfires good condition.
Easton ea70 (i think) stem with stickers removed (almost new has done a couple of rides).
Control tech quill stem 1 1/8" (looks like its been in a war but will polish up fine if somebody has a pot of nitromors and a buffing wheel).
Control tech ahead stem (war like but saveable as above).
Cannondale stem and a strange pair of swept back bars to match.
Cannondale wind front hub and q/r, 36hole good condition.

Art ahead stem
XT 1 1/8" headset dirty and scruffy but sound inside (once all the goo has been removed).
Race face 32t 4 arm compact middle ring. Worn but should be usable.
XT m770 front mech (missing cable anchor nut and bolt)
Campagnolo record 102mm british BB, bearings are graunchy but doesnt seem to have any play that I can detect when off the bike.
Hope xc silver 32h hub, for spares as the body is corroded and has cracked off one of its disc mounts.
Hope red rear hub of some description, for spares as the ratchet ring is a bit knackered. The freehub body is not shown in the pic but I have it somewhere in a bag (im not sure if theres any other issues with it as the darkness of the aforementioned cupboard had erased its existence from my memory)
Manitou 1 forks 1 1/8" with dead elastomers and rusty patches on the stanchions (For spare parts only).
Looking for the nice round sum of £75 posted within the UK.
Its hard to price a big bagful of mixed bits so I hope ive got it about right. Please remember it is as the dark cupboard handed it to me so you will need to sit down with a hot brew and buff and scrub buff and scrub.
