Re:

If you go into the how much is my xyz section on Friday the 4th April there is a thread titled help needed in finding a value. It has better pictures in there.

I thought the frame was more oclv ?

Re:

Dropouts are wrong for an OCLV as is the headtube - the OCLV has a very balanced headtube where as the giant and the Bulldog have a downtube heavy headtube . The fact that the Giant uses a single, replaceable dropout on the drive-side as does the 'Bull-dog' is probably the biggest pointer though

Could be a Giant made frame for another brand. Giant are just a great big Taiwanese factory pumping out frames for all manner of companies so it may be that its made by them but isn't a Giant MCM.

Shame it's collection only! Otherwise I'd be tempted to add to my Giant / Cadex collection. Would happily split if anyone's local to pick it up & break it down..
Hard to tell the age from pics, but with no disc mount it definitely puts it into 'retro' territory. Giant started these frames in '94 as the Cadex PS-S1, then Cadex MCM in '95, then Giant MCM from '96..
My Cadex MCM-3 (1995) is ~1,680g, just for reference..

*EDIT just noticed the cable guides and the dropouts are different to the MCM (as above) which is the same as the older Cadex frames, so perhaps this one is newer or a different spec?

Re:

I'm pretty sure I've had one of those I thought it was a cannondale maybe, it had a rattle can paint job when I got it. Had a full lx group set on it and some Judy's was full of dings though and to small, was light and pretty quick

Re:

The one I had was decent in a battered kind of way, I think the tubing must be thin though as it had dings all over, down tube underside was pepperd and the top tube had some big ones.
