I'll be running this 1x10 so I've bought a SRAM XO clutch rear mech and I'm planning on some Middleburn cranks and a Superstar wide/narrow chainring.
The rest is still up in the air!

saw the dropouts but can you replace the mech hanger should you have a big off

It's steel, I'll just bend it back into place :D

Wow makster i go away for a few weeks and you have become a master craftsman. quality work my friend! i Love it. I have some jig gear and rods if you want. let em know waht you are lookign at for home building and i can help you out. looks wicked. 2k clear coat in canz that are pro level from specaisit paints can do a great long lasting job: http://www.specialistpaints.com/product ... -coat-canz

looking well,my man....very nice indeed! I've just ordered my tubeset for my second build myself,its a wee bit addictive :wink: isn't it? Here's a tentative sneakypeaky at my first build with overprotective downtube censorship until I get website domain etc up and running in the next few days...:oops:...it's a 29er afore yees ask....more soon if anyone's interested :roll:

Thanks for documenting and sharing the course. You have a natural talent with the brazing and the frame turned out superb. I couldn't imagine covering those memories up with a coat of mere paint. It will be an heirloom to pass on!

Thank you. I've been talking to a local metal finisher today about polishing options :wink:
