No decision on paint as yet. I have a few thoughts, but they change quicker than the weather!

Another great day here today. I finished the dry fitting of the seat stays then, before anymore brazing took place, we checked the alignment and fitted a wheel!



I then 'tape-tacked' the seat stays in place to check tyre clearance...



Then I got straight into brazing them on...







I was pleased with how these joints went...





And even more please on how well they cleaned up! Sods law states that the most out of view joints look the best :roll:





Then it was on to the next seat stay...







She's almost a bike now 8)

Seems like as you're getting better at brazing , you're giving yourself less work to do finishing the joints ,

Wouldn't it be cool if you could just clear coat it 8)

I'm not sure my brazing technique has improved that much, but my fiing technique has :lol:

The other chap doing this course is planning on just clear-coating his frame.
I've seen it discussed on here plenty and never seen a frame that's been finished this way.
I'm pretty sure mine will be getting paint, and custom decals :wink:
