Any recommendations for budget discs? Was looking at BB7's then realised I could get Juicy 3's for not much more, have also saw Hayes Rydes about the same too.

These are for a single speed and rigid bike so ultimate power is not a major.
 
i've got tektro ones on my 29er s/s and theyre great
no complaints what so ever
 
I'd seriously consider the cheapest Shimano Hydros

Work very well, easy to work on, you can always buy pads - Anywhere!

I seem to remember I got my front XT disc, caliper, lever and hose for about £50 a couple of years ago from Merlin, pretty good stoppers
 
I'll keep an eye out for deals on shimano, but SLX is coming in at £150
