Buckshaver price

The auction is completed, but I thought it was interesting that it made as much as £440.

In theory throwing in the original 1" rigid fork, 1" Ringle Zooka stem and a 1" Chris King headset, rather than selling them separately is the wrong way to maximise income, but it seems to have worked well on this occasion. And the seller is right - they belong together and it was the right thing to do, so it's nice to see it turn out well for him.

Interesting also that he recommends filling in the amateur ventilation hole in the seat tube.

yeah, was watching this as been wondering what to do with my Buck.

Pleased it made a nice amount, I think Bucks have been very underated, they are a great ride, nicely made and less common than the ubiquitous Yo.

Best I respray mine white

I was watching this too, albeit couldn't bring myself to bid for the whole package and only really wanted the forks.

The chap selling announced it on here and was talking about wanting about £250 for the lot, although he went quiet when I asked for more pics of that vent hole.

Buck's really are great and you see a lot less of them than Yo's. Just put some RC36 ProClass on the front of mine and made it into a dream machine.

only went that high due to the fork. A buckshaver frame won't fetch anything near that under normal circumstances.
