Broken shoulder bike sale

The consultant said I could not of broken the joint falling on the shoulder. Turns out that it must have been dislocated and broke whilst riding home, I hit a big hole which jolted the joint back in breaking the ball. Thats when I passed out. Hope yours heals soon, not nice is it.

OH blimey, that adds insult to injury.

I've done 30 years Martial Arts training, so my natural instinct is to roll over my shoulder. This works perfectly until you cleat a 20lb bike to your feet.

Still, on the plus side, my Yates landing on top of me at least saved it from any damage  And you're right, it's not nice.

I was lucky, as I was only a mile or so from home and the lady in the car had a mobile, so my son came and collected the bike and my wife took me straight to A&E, where they asked me is I was an Elite Athlete

Are you due an op? Or are they going to leave it all to find its way back?

I was 5 miles from home a mile from the nearest road and had left my mobile on the kitchen table. I was not on my own though and I did get to ride a friends carbon super mountain bike with suspension. Shame I had to lift my hand on to the bar, could not change gear or use the front brake.
When I got home I told the wife I had fallen off but was fine and would be ok by the morning  It was not. When I woke up thought that I had better get the train in to work rather than ride. When walking from the station I realised something was wrong as I could hardly breath and thought a rib may have been broken, it was but so was my shoulder. Which would account for it not wanting to move.

The top of the ball is now back in alignment just the lower part of the bone that is sticking out. They do not want to screw it in case it pulls the ball out. I can see from the xray's what they are saying.

My GP has called me an ultra endurance athlete due to my stupid long Audax rides, I think he has been at his own meds if he thinks that.

My friend has had a look and is keen he said something about car insurance renewal making or breaking.

I've told him to sign up to the site and pm you to arrange a viewing.

Thanks, nice set of bikes at good prices by the way. Love that Dyna Tech if I had £400 spare I would snap your arm off! Sounds like it might be quite easy to do at the moment!

I've also suffered the dislocation, 20+ dislocations and two ops later I'm all fixed! Hope you don't go through the same is all I can say!!!!

Maybe you should keep the pista swap the brake levers over and get involved in some serious one handed riding!
