i did the "im not going to the docs "thing...i failed to notice that i was dying from a blood clot and pul.embo...my missus dragged me to the docs while i grumbled and moaned..if i hadnt gone i would be dead...so i tend to man up and go these days...


if i find you keeled over the bars dead im first dibbing the frame....just so every one knows...

No, not a doc, but I work with docs. Nice chap? Couldn't possibly comment

my doctor retired about 7 years ago and I had not been to the doctors since I was fourteen......that is 17 years ago....when I went after falling off my bike they told me they had no records for me and I needed to re register.......the forms were horrendous and I had some business to do so I walked out....

forms are pretty straight forward - there's only 1 - a purple one (called the GMS1). They *should* also have your records as they are held centrally if a GP practice closes or if the GP retires and no-one replaces them. I guess some might go astray.

While we're on the subject of ribs, I broke ribs twice last year - once cycling into a fox in the dark - that was nasty all over, took about 10 weeks to heal, then no sooner healed than I broke them again playing with the kids. Not so bad that time. They get better in time, but I still have some twinges from them.
