The new section of steerer has been TIG-welded on, with the welds penetrating the walls all the way round.

You can do chin-ups off the end all day.

Had to admit to myself that the British Eagle is a tad too small...

New-old-stock 1991 Stumpjumper Comp, Tange Prestige in a lovely matte pearl powder blue.
