I still remember that $165 MB-2 with a biplance fork!! Wonder if the serial flipper snatch it too? That looked like a nice specimen.

That guy is a serial flipper. He comes across some neat stuff though. I am still sort of kicking myself for not picking up a really sweet red/black(?)/white Wicked he posted earlier in the year that sold for $300 or so.

The guy is local to me and he has snaked a few from under my nose. I got to my Timber Comp before him though. When I talked to the seller and told him where I was driving from he said there was another buyer coming from my area. I was doing 90 the whole way and I was loading the bike in my truck when he pulled up. I know it is the same guy because I went to his house to look at a bike he had listed a while back. He is actually a really nice person but he does not collect. Just flips.

It is so funny/sad how we poor souls who populate the vintage MTB world all know the same people by their buying/selling habits.....or at least can remember the bikes that passed through their ownership

Now regarding your bike problem...perhaps I can interest you once more in lightening your load by selling me that pretty red Yo fork (yes, this will be a running gag...but I'm dead serious).
