Checking in for updates on this one. Always fancied a Boulder myself and have come close a couple of times. The fork legs are looking great :cool:

The whole leg, like original.

But surely the metal bits didn't have a clear coat applied to them originally?

Just asking because on the photos it looks like those have been done too. I guess I just assumed it would only be the carbon itself that was getting recoated.

Take a look closely at your fork and you can see that it's coated on the carbon but also on aluminium parts. Mine had some scratch on the dropouts so it was easy to see the initial top coat. At first I thought to coat only the legs but I preferred to coat the whole leg, as originally.
You can go for a leg only coating, just need more of masking work.
