Following on from last months 26" wheels and rim brakes, we'll continue the evolution with 26" wheels and disc brakes for October.

Usual rules apply otherwise http://www.retrobike.co.uk/wiki/BoTM_Rules

It's useful for the poll if you can structure your nomination as follows:

username's Year Manufacturer Model , e.g. John's 1990 Kona Lavadome
Image(s) MAXIMUM OF 2
Finally please include a link to your machine in the relevant Reader's Bikes section. If you don't have an existing post now is the time to add one with as much detail as you like!

Nominations thread will run for the entire month. Entries submitted after October 31st will not be counted. The poll will go up shortly after the nominations close and will run for a week.

Would a slight bend in the rules be allowed for my Spooky from 99 which is running 24 inch wheels even though it’s a 26 inch frame Bike is period correct as I built it back in 2000 as I’ve had it since new.

I’d love to say yes but feel I’d be setting a precedent

Hmmm, never tried this. Assuming the sept 30th deadline is a copy/paste error...

Kevhls San Andreas circa 1998, build thread of sorts here: https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/mountain-cycle-san-andreas-x2.398350/#post-3167279

Indeed @Kevhl, I'll amend that now
