Carsten's daughter's Klein is my fav at the mo, come on guys let's see what you've got. I'm never going to have an entry in this as I'm not precious enough about what my bikes look like :(

my everso 'umble entry

here's my entry, my ex-NOS (now getting dirty when i can) Ritchey P20 - it's been a bit of a dream bike for me having always liked Ritchey bikes and gear for their great design and not being overly flashy.

It was the Fisher show bike from 1997 which was kept in storage until last summer when it come up for sale here and I managed to get it, pretty rare and a 20" being a bit more so, I was very chuffed - it made the 2hr wait in a service station well worth it!

Anyway after a bit of time its built up, mainly with 952 XTR but with period Ritchey parts where possible (some from thomas frischknecht old Ritchey team mechanic, Marcello who is a top bloke) - where I couldn't get old parts I've gone iwth something new but similar so the rims are Mavic 717 and the spokes are DT revelutions with gold nipples (so the same as the old DT made Ritchey spokes). I've also got a pair of old black wall WCS Megabites and a rigid Logic fork to match, but I like the look of the red tires and the yellow fork at the mo!

the full spec and some more pictures are on the readers bikes section
Ritchey P20

Hope you like it! It'll be my only chance to get a BOTM as I really can't see me needing another bike (although wanting is another matter  )

Thats my decision made then  I was thinking about putting my P20 in this month, but it's been waiting for me to take some decent pics for far too long. I can now wait until my Digi SLR arrives  Pointless putting in 2 P20's in one month.
Good luck KonaKid

First Univega on Retrobike?
No chance of winning I'm sure- but I love this bike!
Photos taken at Sherwood Pines today...
Its 1991 I believe bought the frame off ebay.de and the bits from various places mainly XT and DX

A very underated bike the Univega.
A guy I used to ride with on the Pro-Circuit team, Paul Hanks, ended up getting sponsorship with them.
Last I heard of him was in Max Power magazine (in the late 90's), having built up a Renault 5 GT Turbo whilst of the bike with a broken back after getting knocked off!
