Has anyone tried these? Do you think they will be as strong as a Project 2 for my Hei hei?

I don't want carbon ones so what else is there out there?

Any help gratfully received

I would sell my mother for ti P2's. Those Spicers are in bad shape. Contaminaed welds?? I'm using Sibex without any problems. I hear Black Sheep are nice too. Hope my Spicer bars don't break

Thats not gone well

Possibly the understatement of the year :). Hope the rider was ok.

Looks like the welds were stronger than the tubes in this case? (knowing about metallurgy, welding etc. as I don't).

Maybe I'll stick with my carbon RC31s after all.

One things for sure - after seeing photos of two different examples of those Spicer forks failing like that I wouldn't even consider them.

They've behaved as if they've been made with plain gauge Ti (and pretty thin gauge at that !) rather than being butted.
I don't think I'd ever trust rigid carbon forks either, mind you (Pace, Bontrager, Superstar, whatever..)
