Just a couple of points - why, when listening to him speak, did I think that he was going to break out into a Mary Poppins song at any moment?

And, why was he complaining about MP's salary when he admitted he was on £89,000 plus expenses...?

I wouldn't mind having him negotiating my pay rates and holiday entitlement.
4day, 32 hour week, 9 weeks holiday (+bank holidays) and £35,000 basic pay a year...
... but every strike is really about safety!
