Karma BMX project edinburgh

Haven't posted here in years. So hello again.

My son brought this home from a jumble sale and it's too small for him. After checking it seems it is 80s or early 90s. Thought I would offer it up here as a free project as I just don't have time. Can't get into shipping unfortunately. It's based in SW Edinburgh so if you are local or have someone local that can come get it then great.

Any info you have on this would be good. It seems like it might be an ok bike but possibly the one that arrived under the tree when your older brother got a burner.

Apart from the obvious rust, cables etc. the rear hub is seized so it might not be feasible. I haven't had time really to even have a look at it properly and the with the prospect of noone here actually using it, the motivation just isn't there...

thanks - that's useful to know.
I'm not that familiar with BMX - having never owned one - only ever coveted mates ones in teh 80s.
I'll infer then maybe this isn't that enticing in terms of a project to the retro-bmxer? other than a pure nostalgia play maybe.

yer, if you had one as a kid you'd maybe want it, but from a collectors point of view it doesn't really hold much value I'm afraid.

thanks that's great info - nice to see that this site is still running and still benefits from knowledgable and generous contributors. I'll leave it up and update the thread if it goes via other ads. hope that's ok
