I was actually thinking of them for the kids bikes.. it was mentioned that shorter crank arms would probably be better for them and BMX cranks come in shorter sizes..

Since then, though, I've seen some nice looking lightweight BMX cranks but not really what I want for myself..

Its much easier if you just fit a one peice crank from an earlier BMX.
