Bloody nettles!

So Im out this morning for a ride. Weather stays dry despite looming black clouds.

I'm making my way down quite a steep single track, around 1ft wide split into two by a 5" drop and covered in rocks. A nice challenge.

What wasnt nice though, was the fact that half way down I discovered the trail was lined with overgrown nettles on both sides with the odd bramble thrown in for good measure.

Trying to concentrate on that track whilst being nettled all over my shins and hands wasnt all that pleasant. The Rocky Mountain made it down the...rocky trail. I didnt even fall off so my wife wont notice I borrowed her bike :)

Nice post nettling tingling is now in ongoing!

Does anyone have any interesting stories regarding nettle stings? :D

I feel your (tingly) pain fella,

I got caught up in a load a couple of weeks ago and even 7 pints of Stella in my guts, couldn't numb the pain for the rest of the day/night

The worst thing is when you go barrelling thru them as like a damage-limitation attempt, and you think you've got away with it, only for the stinging to kick in, with a short delay.

I have the perfect cure for the sting !!!

Your never guess

Spray on deodrant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Works better than any thing else

Go on give it a try

Doesn't urinating on the infected area stem the sting, or is that just Jellyfish stings...? :?

not so much nettles but at woburn there is a trail that follows the road that has these plant/shrubs that have spiney sharp leaves! I alway end up looking like a junkie after taking that trail, just a mass on needle marks up down my arms and legs :? and that with wearing long sleeves and full length trousers!

They're the latest trendy salad up London way. My sister sells them to that geezer from masterchef for £1.50 a kilo.
