Bloody leaky roof

In our house we had to make a bedroom downstairs as 6 of us in 3 bedroom house :shock: so have a fourth downstairs now. To be able to make the fourth we had a conservetary put on the back of the house so this is our lounge . It's all been like this for 7 years now. But we now have leaks in the conservetary roof, it's a slope glass roof with a join along the middle of the roof and this is where it has started to leak . I went up and silconed the join where it was leaking the other day and was fine, but yesterday started to leak again. So went back up and sealed it with more in the afternoon when it stopped raining.

And now today it is heavy rain I now have 3 more and the old leak dripping away . :x :x

So my lounge has 4 pots catching the water great look for the lounge.

When I get a dry day , I am going to clean the roof and scrap of the silcone I have put down . Then redo with fresh silcone.

Can anyone tell me what silcone best to use??

I have four tubs catching water for now .

Bloody roof, was going to clean roof now but way to slippery up on the roof, to dangerous.

Yes, but finding the source of the leak and getting everything clean and dry enough to apply the sealant is the difficult bit........ :roll:

Not sure if you can make it out but there is a join in the middle of each section, that is where it is dripping. :roll: :roll:

It has to be really really dry or the silicon is useless, also as mentioned where the water is dripping from isn't necessarily where the leak is!

Yeah will wait for a dry day, just hope we have one soon.

Think it has to be where it is dripping on the join as there is no signs of it running down the main beams.
