Bloody leaky roof

Something I used to use in the landscaping/building trade was a product called milliput... it can be applied to any wet surface, just needs to be reasonably clean.. not cheap but guaranteed it will do the work,, its flexible to so as the joints expand/contract it will expand and contract with it.. ;)

Its ace stuff,, but not cheap.. ;)

Plumb base have it , and you may be able to get it from somewhere like screw fix.. ;)

I've currently got about 3 litres of water per day coming into my basement (which is also my bedroom!!) :(
Got the water board coming on Thursday to test it to see if its natural or not.
Always had damp issues but its never been a water feature before!
Could be a few things in the for sale section soon to pay for the repairs

That not good, where it coming in from??

There is an area of the wall where the damp course was damaged by the previous owners. I'm pretty sure the water is from an underground stream or spring (I live on the side of a hill and very close to the sea!).
Hoping that the tests prove me wrong and that its leaking from somewhere else but will have to wait and see.
Bloody water!!

Not good hope they can sort it and its good news for you. let us know how you get on

Does that mean i got to keep cleaning the roof

No you will only have to give it a wipe where you are applying the sealing... I have used milliput in some pretty extreme places beleive me..  so tbh you dont have to go overboard with prep but always best to clean the thick of it off.. :)
