Bloody ebay charlitans....... The Conclusion!

Contact the police. They will act on this, as it is a case that can easily be solved.

I don't suppose you have any serial numbers for these goods?

Alot of Police forces now have people who deal with eBay fraud. Definitely worth reporting. If other people report the same guy, they will take action :) .

No but believe it or not, the items were marked in a way that is easily recognisable, and not seen on items that are identical.

I've printed my pics off, and their pics off, and the bloody marks are there in exactly the same place.

Bought in a local shop, my a55.

Have you got in touch with the police yet?

No, I'm keeping it civil at first.......
Then your going to lose the money and your items.

The police will wonder and no doubt ask why you didnt contact them sooner,or worse still think your not that bothered really and youre reporting it as a matter of course.Act and say how upsetting this is to you aand youve definitive proof its outright theft

Yeah they paid
I sent the items at the same time as 3 other similar items, and these miraculously don't get delivered, and now they have two identical items for sale :? :?
They got their money back out of my paypal, and I'm left with nothing. They're left with all their money back, the items, and now the money they make on them..... :?

buy them back, and then claim not receipt, and ask for money back :D

A friend was just in a 6 month court case over an ebay sale for a £70 sale. 7 policemen arrived with a warrant to search a 1-bed flat, all over 70 notes and a mixing desk. He was innocent, someone was trying a scam.

I had a call just the other day from the police concerning a £2.74 ebay purchase.. some seller had taken payments and never shipped any goods, given false contact info to ebay then attempted to vanish. It was reported by several people and they have been contacting all that recently did business with him no matter the value. I didn't report it myself, can claim back through paypal, but the police do certainly take these things seriously.

Good luck.

Visit the police with the evidence etc and let them deal with it, best way.

If this person has committed theft and fraud then he should get a visit at least from the old bill. People who commit these petty crimes are usually doing it to others as well so should be put off from doing so, they also might have violent mates to back them up.
I got attacked by a scumbag after I tracked down a stolen tandem, he attacked me with a spade. The police prosecuted on the end.

Don't leave it too long to make your post office claim as well.
Act now.......
