Bloody ebay charlitans....... The Conclusion!

Besides he could be bigger than you... and your mates, and then claim "self defense" etc. Just get the police and ebay involved as soon as you can, giving him notice could just let him withdraw the auctions.

The police are rushed off their feet, busy failing every other group in society - What makes you think they'd make an exception in this case?

If you would like a contribution to cover petrol money, let me know.

Well I've just had a message explaining that these two items that they are selling, were bought in a local shop, and it's just a coincidence.

Maybe I'm biased in this situation, but it just seems a bit dodgy to me...

Get the police involved. Inform ebay. He has probably done/will do this to other people.

Even if you get the money back you need to make sure he can't repeat this act.

Bought from a shop , so will have receipts then .

This is theft after all and if you have all the info should be pretty cut and dried.

I work in a shop , the manager saw a guy actually put something in his pocket and walk out , it was even on the cctv . Police couldn't prosecute

The guy gets nothing more than a store ban

i think ive been lucky with ebay, i havent sold a massive amount but have only had trouble with one seller which was resolved in the end anyway. and, i used to send all my stuff un-recorded and had no problems. its only recently ive started using recorded  good luck with it buddy. id recommend not telling him and going to the police.

Yeah they paid
I sent the items at the same time as 3 other similar items, and these miraculously don't get delivered, and now they have two identical items for sale :? :?
They got their money back out of my paypal, and I'm left with nothing. They're left with all their money back, the items, and now the money they make on them..... :?

Drive up there with a friend (in an economical car, to keep costs low) and sort it out.

Don't let your blood boil on the way up.

Even Columbo couldn't drag that one out for more than 10 mins.
