fair do's - why not? :?

I'll strip and flip on Ebay if it means I can use the profit to buy more parts off fellow members here :D

Well if you read the first auction the original sellers description does imply that the chainsuck was so severe that there is actually a hole in the chainstay tubing where the damage is but the re-seller states no such thing, so either the first seller got it wrong or the re-seller isnt being entirely honest!

Sod the politics, thats screwed

ok - fair comment if they're being less than honest.

Eh, the second seller puts up a photo for all to see the hole and damage properly.. ok implying it does not matter but if the buyer is thick enough not to realise to titties it's an auction (well unless they make a purchase)

It's only a headset, seatpost and saddle which are stripped and for ~£180 is quite a lot to pay for them.

People can do what they want on e-bay, I couldn't give a monkeys.

What annoys me is when they buy cheap on e-bay and then try to sell high on this site... or worse, buy cheap from a retrobike member and then try to make big bucks on the bay. Poor form, very poor form.

Despite the ethics involved just can't see anyone buying it with that hole in the chainstay or at least not for anything like the price he is asking.

Could not agree more, extremely poor form in my book - one thing to buy and then sell on in an auction when it could go either way, quite another to put on eBay with a BIN at 50% mark up.

Not that I am bitter of course. Oh no.
