17.5" Bike Tech - Hikari frameset re-powder coated in Mettalic dark red.
Tubing is TANGE ULTIMATE-ULTRASTRONG..
Frame comes with original DX headset, Ritchey stem, Bike Tech bars, Ritchey seatpost, TANGE STRUT forks, LX front mech, cable hanger.
Now for the "Problem stuff!" The threads in the bottom bracket are not great! The New LX bracket as held quite well but i reckon in the future it will need repairing. I have a NOS STRONGLIGHT bracket that does not require threads and this is 124mm just the job for early XT,DX, COOK BROS R.S.R etc..the face of the frames shell requires a 45mm chamfer which i can get done no problem.
If anyone interested in this lovely frame i will include the Stronglight fitted if required.
No rust issues or cracks, in fact it is a lovely frameset and quite rare on these shores
I have not ridden it since i restored it which is why it is getting sold.
