the front and rear hubs on most snow bikes are the same size, so people can either have a spare cassette on the front of a single speed set up on the front, then swap it with the rear if you fancy it.

Are you sure they don't just run a rear hub on the front to allow for a wider fork to be used and give clearance for those fat tyres? The spare cassette thing sounds more like a bit of marketing BS, done to get people talking at the trade shows and getting a bit of brand coverage in the media. The bikes not listed on the Moots site so I'm assuming its just a show bike anyway.

I'd still love a quick blast on a snow bike tho. I've seen your build thread and look forward to your riding impressions. Hope it shows up soon as this is the weather for it
