Bike identification

You are right, it does need some work, rather a lot of work from what I can see (incidentally it would be good if you could post the pictures inline, rather than as links, and not post so many of the tool kit, one would have done for that!)

Back to the bike, it is a roadster/light roadster style bike which British manufacturers churned out by the 1000s right up until the 1980s.

Value? in that condition I would say close to zero (or scrap value). Interesting as a project but, if I were you, I wouldn't lay out any money on it.

PS those rod brakes are lethal in the wet!

Cheers for the reply, and as for the photo's! well that was me not taking notice of what i was doing and posted all pics instead of just the one, DOH!

Wasn't looking to shell out just clean up and rebuild over time. Goes on back burner as got a couple of Peugeots to sort out first.
