Bike friendy Hotels

Hi,

I'm looking into doing a ride from Bath to Sheerness and need a staging post in the SW London area.

The route I'm thinking off come if from Bracknell through Kingston on Thames, I'm thinking this area would be a good one to stop in for the night (approx 100 miles from start).

Any suggestions are gratefully received.

I've found the Mecure brand (so Ibis, Novotel, etc) have been fine with me keeping a bike/s in the room. I've given them prior warning and asked if it's a problem and none have ever come back and said no.

Not directly helpful to your question, but I travel for work and often pick up an eBay bike purchase on the way.

Across the UK I have yet to find a hotel which will not let me store a bike either in their left luggage room, somewhere else behind the scenes, or just in my room.

Some have responded that since the resurgent popularity of cycling after London 2012, Team Sky, last year's TdF in the UK etc, they are really used to these requests. I do often drop an email through first to check.
