Bike friendly household insurance

phone and speak to swintons they seem to find the best deals with named items (including bikes looked in garage) think it was £18 extra for all my bikes insured new for old at proper prices not "ow its old here's a fiver" plus coop insurance was good the year before not tried them this year though

Ended up with AA. Cover is OK (although not as comprehensive as M&S) and price is somewhat better than M&S quoted me, approx £600 less! Main issue is they only cover £3K in a garage / outbuilding, was looking to sort the loft for storage so it's OK for me...

Good stuff. Nationwide is looking good so far, just finishing getting online quotes. Needs doing by tomorrow, how I wish I started this a month ago

If you haven't already got your main current account with them and you transfer it to them (a relatively painless process nowadays) you'll get a substantial discount on your premium.

Just got a very reasonable quote from Direct Line, then went on Go Compare, which couldn't really beat it, and I was rather alarmingly phoned by the AA with regards to my home insurance quote within 30 seconds of hitting the calculate quote button!!! Badgering me will not curry favour!
