Bike Carriers roof or boot mount... talk to me

Don't forget that car has a huge boot . I used to fit a complete bmx into the boot of my mk2 cortina ( mk1s will also work and can fit a cement mixer ! ) without having to do anything to the bike , just slides in . You get some funny looks taking a complete bike out of a boot

I've known a few people take the rear glass out and leave the bike hanging out of the back

Never had my bikes attached to the outside of a car .

Well I managed to score a schweet set of Thule roof bars for the car, just have to track down a bike attachment and I'll be away! I still like the idea of a modified boot lid haha

Reminds me of the first scene in Tread with Herbold & Rey drilling and bolting the roof rack to the top of the Vista Cruiser wagon.
