Anyone know which year for this BV?



I'm not sure why some bikes just appeal even if they are a tatty mash of parts, too big for me and I definitely don't need them - something about the proportions / geometry, the colours and general vibes? And it being a late 80s/early 90s Marin . This one rapidly falling into that category... although that crime against saddles x wrong-way-round seatpost arrangement is fighting back at my better judgement - the more I look the harder it fights.

@Tootyred .any ideas on the age of this one - and if it's actually a BV? Not seen this colourway before. I've asked for frame number...

Its an 89 from the drop outs and where the stays are welded...

Could be another region colourway, or a respray with some pink team decals added!

Frame number for that age may only tell you the year....as its a different format to 90 onwards.

That looks like a 19" in marin speak with a 150mm headtube.

1990 or older. Newer bikes don't have the 'triangle' here.
