Bicycle garden art

Does anyone here have bicycle garden art? I know a couple of people who have dead bikes as ornaments. One is a 1950's bike with rod brakes which is a shame to see it there, but it was past restoration so it sits as a sort of decaying monument. The other is an early tandem, probably savable, but uses a lot of obsolete size parts according to the owner so he keeps it as decoration against the wall.

This is mine that I put together yesterday from an old frame and some rusting 27" wheels (please excuse the tiny picture):

This was a bent 1980's Raleigh Equipe frame that I saved from someone's front garden. They failed to tell me it was bent although it rode ok, but I had a go at straightening it a while back. I couldn't quite get the angles back completely despite cutting and shutting the frame. Now it's on the wall I can actually see the forks are bent back slightly as well, so it wasn't going to happen. Anyway, I gave it a lick of red paint and a sprinkle of iron filings in the surface to induce some rust. On top of that some crappy chrome cranks that look old but were in fact new, some chrome drops and a pair of rusting 27" wheels to make it look older than it is and it's good to decay for the winter. It'll come down next year and we're going to use it to hang our herb pots from.

I have to reframe from commenting on gardens otherwise I may get banned...............

Someone up the road from us has an old roadster that he left leaning against a young hedge. You can still see it but its now part of the hedge.I think it looks good but each to there own with this sort of thing

My mate has a couple of hanging baskets around his house, the hangers are the rear triangle of bike frames, looks good.

By the way he only cut up rotted steel frames and not good ones.
