It's looking great!

Have you seen the carbon frm forks on eBay currently?

Bit pricey but nice
I’m sure they’re 29”
They have either sold or awaiting relisting.
But they were definitely 26"
Italian seller.

Re: Bianchi Reparto Corse Ti Martini FRM Ritchey WCS

Installed the Avid Ultimate black ops
Need to Set them up though

Re: Bianchi Reparto Corse Ti Martini FRM Ritchey WCS

Red saddle back on
Set it up and took some snaps - still some tweaks but I’m pretty happy with it.
Only playing around with a saddle might be something I’ll do.
I’ll need to change the bar ends for the same model but with logos and decals intact - mine are pretty poor condition.

This weighs just under 21 lbs.

I guess it’s about done - thanks for the persevering anyone who bothered

:xmas-cool: lovely build, and a great weight too.

Re: Bianchi Reparto Corse Ti Martini FRM Ritchey WCS

I was wondering whether to rebuild this as a replica of Dario Acquaroli‘a 1996 World Championship winning bike for Bianchi Martini Racing.

What do you think?

Here’s his bike:

Re: Bianchi Reparto Corse Ti Martini FRM Ritchey WCS

On second thoughts - I can’t be bothered, I enjoy riding this so much and it’s very light and feels great.
I think I’ll try and find another of these frames - and then give it a go. - IF I could ever find One again. Brick lane bikes has a dedacciai Zero version for what? £1200!!!

Re: Bianchi Reparto Corse Ti Martini FRM Ritchey WCS

A couple of updates

I have been looking for a saddle that will be both light and comfortable and would sort of match the frame - minimalist, so not to overwhelm - as I have been pondering whether to get a Flite Martini Racing Team saddle to match the frame - I found a couple on eBay, expensive, but I think I’ll pull the trigger as I won’t use them but they’re part of the ‘set’ so will keep and perhaps take a few snaps of.

But to ride this Fabric Scoop Ti railed Flat saddle is perfect - so comfortable and flexible and relatively light (about the same as the Flite Ti in weight) - I was looking at the Brooks C13 and I’ve kindly been offered one to try which I’ll do so - and compare to this.

I also changed the cassette to a new M770 which is a sort of upgrade to the worn and slightly heavier M750 I had - plus a light weight KMC X10EL chain - slightly lighter and definitely with more bling and prettier to the XTR chain I had on before.
Bar ends have been removed and I think this looks sleek and looks pretty too!

The next update will be with the Team saddle - IF anyone in Europe is willing to deliver to the U.K. will take some nice pictures out on a ride rather than outside in the garden!

I’m also looking to complete the set by sourcing an ITM Celeste stem and a pair of Michelin Wildgrippers in Green - have the be the very lightweight black wall versions preferably or failing that anberwall.
I’ve seen a pair of Ritchey Celeste pedals around too which I’ll see if I can find again.
Probably won’t use these but will be good for any future re-sale and for collection sake.
Of course when the ‘set’

Looking good mate!

Some great components on this build..
Thanks mate -
I’m quite pleased with the saddle - it’s not expensive but it’s very comfortable and looks minimalist - doesn’t intrude and is pretty light - I need that Flite Martini Racing Team saddle for the catwalk!

The blingy new cassette and KMC X10EL chain sparkle and shaved a few grammes off (as did removing the bar ends ((which admittedly didn’t weight anything much)) -
