Beware Gumtree ads fake pictures

Guess we all post pics up without considering where they may end up.

Not 100% sure but I may have seen those pics on eBay over the last few weeks as well? I may be wrong, so don't panic, but I'm sure I've seen these pics very recently, and not on here, and I don't frequent gum tree at all.
 
Gumtree is a nightmare - it's full of dodgy ads.

Generally the rule of thumb is - if it seems to good to be true it probably is.

And of course always exercise caution and don't let the thought of getting a bargain make you do things you normally wouldn't and lastly never be tempted to pay a deposit by western union etc.
 
I saw a Giant road bike on e-bay about two years ago, advertised with my images! I messaged to say "what the heck are you playing at, using my pictures?" I got a grovelly apology along the lines of "sorry, my camera's broken" - and the ad soon disappeared. It really sucks ~ people should take their own pics! :evil:
