Best saddle?

I'm affraid saddles are very individual items,I always used origional flites until I got road racing and found them to be agony on really long rides,I then went through about 10 different types until I tried the Concor lite, although they don't seem very durable they are good for me.Also recently found fizic ariones to be good although somewhat expensive.
Put a Charge spoon on my ss and have found it to be amazingly comfy and for 20quid not too heartbreaking if it hadn't worked out.
Oh and fizik alientes are supposed to be comfy, gonna get one soon for my latest modern build.

I use a WTB Rocket V leather/ti saddle on three of my bikes, including the SS, and am happy with it. Once the leather is broken in to your ass, it's a nice fit, plus it has the love channel. The whale tail and curved nose give you a few different positions to shift between, as well. I won't say it's the best or super plush, but with padded shorts it's even more comfy. I don't spend much time in the saddle on my SS however. I find I'm out of the saddle 80-90% of the ride pumping and coasting.

Guys, I opted for the Fizik Gobi. Done 60 miles on it to date and so far I've been impressed - and so has my botty. The Gobi is pretty comfy, light and nice looking too.

Happy trails once more. :D

I've tried countless versions of saddles and 2 stick out for me as the most comfortable.

I've been using Regal Girardi saddles on the road since 1990 maybe, and they're lovely once broken in. That does take a while though. Roughly 1000 or so miles for me.

Then there is the Flite. Amazing comfort for such a skimpy thing. The transalp version is even better!

To put into context, my mate road from Southport in merseyside all the way to China, and used his trusty old Flite. It started off Black and came back a kind of light brown, dusty thing.
Everytime he buys a bike, the saddle moves across. And that same saddle has been going since 1992. In fact he has 3 bikes and only one saddle to share betwwen them.

I think Flite is the winner here.

That's the thing that slightly bothered me about the Gobi, it's not made of leather. I wonder how well it will last compared to the Flite?

Yeah rolls are good, and tre retro.I've broken 4 flite titanium saddles in my time to make one last that long is legendary!
