Old traditional bike shops, the kind you get down side streets, where you have to climb over the stock some of which has still got old money prices, tyres and wheels hanging from the ceiling, some old geezer hidden at the back reluctantly fixing some kids BMX because thats all that come in anymore. The smell of those shops, all rubber tyres, brooks leather saddles, waxed cotton, bike grease and polish, a hint of pipe baccy smoke. Not many left but when I find one, instantly I'm relaxed, at one with bicycles as they should be, almost shed like and spanner armed
