Stink

Gotta be the smell of gt85 and deep heat ( when my backs playing up). The sound of the rear hope hub and the sight of more bike bits being delivered.

Smell: Embrocation

Smell: GT85, unsurprisingly.

Sound: The 'click' of an M735 thumbshifter, followed by the slight 'chink' from the chain as it slips across the cassette. Made me smile only a couple of hours ago as I rode home from work.

Sight: Deore DX, any of it, on any bike, beautiful.

Taste: The unique gustation of a bottle topped up with fresh water, but not cleaned since the last ride.

Mmmm bit of a worry about all the Gt85 snorters, it's carcinogenic int it?
Smell has to be wild Garlic in the woods as of now and fresh turned hay. I love the sound of XT Thumbies, the purr of my White Industries rear hubs (have to be the lowest rolling resistance hubs on the market!) Sight wise, a long twisting dusty track thats goes on into the distance through the trees and no one else in sight!

Feel: the biting point on Maguras when the pad starts to stop the rim.
Sight: On the bike itself, nowt. But the view's are often stunning.
Taste: Post-ride cup of tea.

Smell: GT85 or grey hub grease.
Sound: Hope Minis in the dark at Mayhem/SITS etc to let the rider in front know you're there.
Feel: that sudden sensation of not getting cold water in your shoes on a winter ride cos you've got Shimano boots on.

Another vote for GT85. Even my girlfriend doesn't seem to mind when the kitchen has been turned into a workshop... until she trips over my tool-box.
