Been to Hell and back. Again.

I've been to one once and I'm never giving Ikea a penny of my money again. The staff were easily the biggest load of buffoons I've ever met. At one point I had to explain to one how to navigate the Ikea website to look up the number of the product I wanted. I witnessed multiple "domestics" and when it came to paying I've been in shorter queues at theme parks. The whole experience seems designed to confuse and confound so that once you've been funneled around the shop you're so desperate to leave you throw them all the money you came with and escape with some weirdly named kitchen utensils you could have got on your local high street. Shopping there should come with some sort of warning like "If you're easily offended by; being herded like an animal, non-existent customer service and an incomprehensible purchasing system, please do not enter".

Re:

We went last Sunday to get some basics for the new kitchen...
Closed at 4, arrived at half 3, came out with recycling bins, cutlery, pan rack for the wall, and a drainer
Stress free and successful really...
Life is what you make it people

Never been to one - and frankly these descriptions of the experience are making me break out in a cold sweat.

Surely, this is what the internet was invented for so the average male could avoid this kind of stuff.

Unless THM is softening up the missus for some major bike purchase.

It arrived the next day.
