Gazz i think the fat looks brilliant in that colour to be fair.

Im not sure i would necessarily consider it a step on, more a different method....but i suspect this is an age old debate, and different people would argue different points for and against.

It is something i have enjoyed looking at, from different framebuilders, and i think in the end for me it boils down to aesthetic choice.

Considering they have come out of Taiwanese and Chinese (or Russian ?) sweat shops they are surprisingly good

It's eithter right done or wrong You know. Once You master that process does not much matter where, not that I've seen at what environments are frames made in Taiwan they all come nicely welded.
