Be HONEST older Retro riders - Who is taking MAHOOSIVE air ?

Re:

I got some air off a ski jump in the Alps this year.

But there was also plenty of air in the bag placed in landing zone to mean I didn't need to worry about coming down with a bump.

If it had been on to regular snow, I would have not done it.

Re:

I try to as often as possible, purely because it's fun
It's relatively easy on a modern full-sus bike, on a retro hardtsil it's a little trickier, but the payoff is that you may only get 1 foot of air but it feels like 4feet !! :D

Seen a few pics of the same type of landing for bike jumps. I would have to try this first before attempting anything crazy

I don't jump on bikes any more. Getting it wrong hurts too damn much. BITD, a friend of mine practiced his "zak-flip" into a swimming pool until he could do it properly, but still ended up with plates and screws all over the place.

On skis and the like I'm a bit more adventurous, these days I mainly ride a skwal and have no fear of boosting off terrain moves or dropping 3m or so off edges. That said, I hit the "Franco Berthod" slope in La Thuile 3 days ago and nearly soiled myself. It's a 73% grade "injected" (read - ice rink) slope used for world cup racing, though.
