BBC Radio 6

Very sad. The only thing that the BBC seem to spend their money on these days is crappy costume dramas for the middle-class crew

I'd rather BBC3 went before Radio 6 even though I never listen to Radio 6 I can appreciate what it's doing. It does more for real music than radio 1 which is just full of inane chatter and dull-as-dishwater DJs - Greg James? Scott Mills? The beige of the airwaves.

this country is feked   talking of stupid babble on r1 is that fat leeds idiot still there

Only if we let it Brother...together we can change...together we become one voice!

blimey... some vociferous responses there!

I'm quite happy with R1, its better than the mine numbingly dull commercial radio offerings

I also listen R4 and watch BBC 3

The only DAB station I liked, Chill FM, went off air. It smacks the face of the digital switch over as there wont be anything digital to switch over to...

on a wider note:

The BBC make a hell of a lot of money syndicating programs around the world and have every right to be as big as they are.
ITV et al are only whinging because their income has dropped with the recession, thats the nature of business. ITV used to be good but diluting their brand hasnt helped whilst the BBC has been successful

I couldnt live without the BBC, they have done a lot for broadcasting in general. We have them to thank for broadcasting standards and technology.

OK we have to pay the tax/ licence - I dont care, I'd rather that than live in Murdoch world.

I've filled the survey on the BBC trust website and Emailed my response to the strategic review.

6Music needs to stay, if enough people kick up a fuss I think it will.

Playlists are killing radio.

6 was OK but i can see why they want to axe it.

Ilisten to R1 and R4 (went off R2, load of poo) and watch BBC 3 & 4 the most. Hardley watch/listen to any commercial stations, except for Xfm.
